ALL-IRELAND CAMOGIE champions Cork will face some stiff tests in their defence of the O’Duffy Cup, when the All-Ireland group stages commence next June.
The group stages will consist of two separate pools, with five teams occupying Group 1, while six will feature in Group 2.
Paudie Murray’s side have been drawn in Group 2 which features Meath, Offaly, Tipperary and Wexford, who captured three consecutive senior All-Irelands between 2010 and 2012.
They will also face a Dublin side who defied the odds earlier this year to appear in a first All-Ireland semi-final since 1990 under the guidance of five-time All-Ireland winning goalkeeper David Herity.
All-Ireland finalists Kilkenny have been drawn in Group 1, and will be joined by Waterford, Clare and Limerick, as well as 2017 All-Ireland semi-finalists Galway.
The first round of those group stages will take place on the weekend of the 9/10 June, and further fixture details will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The draw was also conducted for the group stages of the All-Ireland intermediate and Premier Junior championships.
Defeated 2017 All-Ireland intermediate finalists Cork have been drawn in Group 1 along with Carlow, Derry, Down, Laois and Wexford.
Group 2 sees newly promoted side Westmeath drawn with Antrim, Kildare, Kilkenny, Galway, and Tipperary.
